About the USPHL NCDC Combine Series

The USPHL NCDC Combine Series offers players the opportunity to showcase their talent, learn from the best, and pave the way to collegiate hockey advancement. Combines are run by experienced NCDC staff passionate about helping expose players to scouting opportunities from the USPHL coaches, giving access to information about the USPHL pathway to college hockey, and a four-game competition guarantee to showcase skills.

  • Scouting: Coaches and scouts from the NCDC, Premier, and Elite Divisions of the USPHL will observe players at each Combine. Coaches provide immediate feedback, a chance to get scouted for the May 2025 NCDC Entry Draft, and access to building crucial relationships in the USPHL.
  • Information: The USPHL will host seminars introducing the USPHL Pathway to College Hockey and how the NCDC opens the door to future success. Parents will have a chance to speak with team and league representatives.
  • Competition: Players will compete in a four-game guarantee against prospects within the same age range. Teams will be led by coaches from all USPHL-affiliated leagues. NCDC and Premier coaches will be on the bench to deliver a seamless and lasting impression.

Why the USPHL?

The USPHL is your pathway to college hockey and provides unparalleled opportunities to be seen by collegiate programs nationwide. The USPHL pathway is achieved in a two-pronged effort:

  • Player Advancement: In 2023-24, the NCDC sent 200 players to collegiate hockey programs, 72 of which went on to NCAA Division I teams. Across the league, over 600 players moved on to college hockey.
  • Development Focus: The USPHL’s multi-tiered system provides tailored growth opportunities, with pathways from the USPHL Elite to NCDC Tier II and beyond.
