New England Division
Forward: Chase Darcey, South Shore Kings
Darcey (‘06/Billerica, Mass.) is on a five-game points streak for the South Shore Kings, scoring five goals and two assists over four games this week. The rookie is proving to be a standout, leading the franchise in points this season and being the fourth-highest score leader for the entire league with 34 points across 28 games.
Defense: Brady Dunn, Islanders Hockey Club
Dunn (‘05/Mt. Lebanon, Penn.) earns his second Player of the Month nomination for December with two goals and three assists added to his name this week. The rookie has 21 points across 18 games, and played with the Islanders’ Premier team for four games this season.
Goaltender: Cole Kelly, Islanders Hockey Club
Kelly (‘05/Binghamton, N.Y.) conceded only two goals on Dec. 15, making 32 saves on 34 shots for a .941 save percentage and another win to his name. He is 9-3-0-0 in his rookie season with the Islanders Elite team, with a .906 save percentage.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Brody Polacek, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights
The WBS Knights continue a five-game win streak this month, with Polacek (‘06/Binghamton, N.Y.) scoring four goals and garnering four assists last week to help them continue the streak. The rookie is on a points streak of his own, registering points in all five games he’s played with the Knights so far.
Defense: Kirill Serebryakov, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Knights
On the defense side, Serebryakov (‘08/Astana, Kazakhstan) scored one goal and had two assists on Dec. 15, helping the WBS Knights top the division leaderboard. The rookie has 17 points across 10 games, including two game winning goals.
Goaltender: Pandelis Tursi, Connecticut Jr. Rangers
Tursi (‘06/Glen Cove, N.Y.) garnered two wins for the Connecticut Jr. Rangers last week, making 70 saves on 73 shots for a .959 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average. In his first Elite season, the goalie has a 9.35 save percentage and is 3-3-1-1 so far this season.
Midwest Division
Forward: Robert Gross, Fort Wayne Spacemen
Gross (‘05/Fort Wayne, Ind.) put up two goals and three assists for five points in his single game against Motor City over the past week. He currently has 18 points in 13 games this season, and 40 points in 56 games.
Defense: Joseph Rodriguez, Chicago Cougars
Rodriguez (‘06/Oak Lawn, Ill.) had a big run of three games, with a goal and three assists for four points during the Cougars’ last three games, in which they went 2-1-0-0. Rodriguez currently has nine points in 23 games.
Goaltender: Andrew DiSilvestro, Chicago Cougars
DiSilvestro (‘07/Arlington Heights, Ill.) had a strong performance over two games, including a 34-save performance on 35 shots on Dec. 10 against the Metro Jets. He also stopped 14 of 15 against Decatur for his third straight win.
